Description
In Dhofar, southern Oman, the Hirz is a protective bead traditionally worn as part of the Murriya, a daily choker necklace. Positioned at the shoulders, it was believed to offer protection to the wearer.
This design brings the Hirz to the forefront, reimagining a traditional form of adornment as a contemporary necklace. Strung with gemstones and designed to sit close to the skin, it carries forward the symbolism of protection and the legacy of Dhofari jewellery.
